The second round of presidential elections is underway in Iran


The second round of extraordinary presidential elections has started in Iran. Polling stations were opened throughout the country as well as abroad. Masoud Pezeshkian and Sayid Jalili will fight for the post of president in the second round. According to the results of the first round of the elections, Pezeshkian received the votes of more than 10 million of the 25 million voters who participated in the elections. 9 million 400 thousand citizens voted for his opponent, Jalili representing the conservative camp.
