Keir Starmer officially becomes Prime Minister of Great Britain

The head of the Labor Party, Keir Starmer, has officially become the 58th Prime Minister of Great Britain after an audience with King Charles III at Buckingham Palace, Sky News reports. "The King invited Sir Keir to become Prime Minister and form a new government after yesterday's landslide election victory," - the message says.
The day before, parliamentary elections took place in Britain. The Labor Party won a landslide victory. According to Sky News, after counting ballots in 647 constituencies, Labor wins 412 seats, the Conservatives - 120, and the Liberal Democrats - 71. 326 seats are enough for a parliamentary majority.
The leader of the winning party takes the post of prime minister and forms the government. The current head of the British Cabinet, Rishi Sunak, admitted defeat and said that he would resign from office after the formalities for electing his successor are completed. Today he will go to Buckingham Palace to meet with Charles III to officially resign as prime minister.
