Ankara's position regarding the Russian C-400 has not changed. Minister of National Defense of Turkey

Turkey expects to discuss the process of purchasing F-35 fighter jets with the new US administration, Ankara's position regarding the Russian C-400 has not changed, Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Güler said.

"We have already announced that we want to buy F-35.

"We believe that the positive atmosphere in the F-16 procurement process will be reflected in the F-35 procurement process. Our position regarding the Russian C-400 has not changed," Guler said.

In 2017, Turkey signed a contract with Russia for the supply of the C-400 artillery complex, which it received in 2019.

The USA demanded to give up the Russian systems in favor of the American Patriot, but Ankara did not agree to it.
