During the contacts with the USA, the Turkish side raised the issue of making an exception for itself within the framework of sanctions against Gazprombank, reports Hürriyet.

According to the data, the relevant issue was discussed during the contacts with the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Ankara. The issue "was raised during meetings with Blinken in Turkey," the source said.

The American side noted that "it is informed about the requests and will give an appropriate assessment".
