The EU may consider creating an army of drones if member states request it, European Defense Commissioner Andrius Kubilius said in an interview, RND reports.
"We have to work closely with NATO. The decision about the need for a drone army should be made by NATO. But I can already see that many EU countries think that drones are very important.
If member states request it, we will consider. the proposal," Kubilius said. The politician noted that drones are capable of changing the entire course of military operations.
