Scholz does not want to send well-integrated Syrian refugees home

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz does not plan to send home Syrian refugees who have integrated well into Germany.

On Mickey Beisenherz's Apokalypse & Filterkaffee podcast, Scholz noted that anyone who is well integrated, speaks German and has a work contract can feel safe in Germany.

"This applies to the Syrians as well. We will not ask them to leave their jobs and leave," he said.

Currently, discussions are underway in Germany about the possible tightening of the rules for providing asylum and returning Syrians to their homeland.
