The new government of Lithuania will visit Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers of Lithuania, formed by the results of the last parliamentary elections, will visit Ukraine in a week. Prime Minister Gintautas Palukas told journalists about this.

"Both I personally and the Cabinet of Ministers have received an invitation to visit Ukraine on December 20. We have planned a visit," he said.

According to the head of the government of the republic, the preparations for the visit are ongoing.

"Details are being clarified, logistical and security issues are being resolved," he said.

Palukas did not specify the composition of the delegation. There are 14 ministries in Lithuania. Members of the government were sworn in and began their duties in the Sejm (Parliament) on Thursday.
