Fidan-Blinken meeting was held in Ankara


A meeting between US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan took place in Ankara. In a statement made after the meeting, Fidan noted that they discussed what to do regarding the situation in Syria, joint concerns and their solutions.

"We agreed on the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza a minute ago," Fidan said. Recalling the efforts of Turkey, the United States and other partners in the region for a ceasefire, he criticized Israel's actions in Gaza.
