"Hraparak" newspaper writes:
The Council of Europe's Group of States Against Corruption (GRECO) has published another report entitled "Prevention of Corruption among MPs, Judges and Prosecutors", which can be evaluated as a yellow card addressed to the authorities.
The report made many observations.
In particular, it was recorded that there are many gaps in the process of declaration of officials, they do not provide full information, declarations are incompletely filled out, the process of checking them is also superficial, issues of conflict of interest are discussed mainly in cases when the declaration, property of any deputy, official appear in public. within the scope of discussion, and most importantly, no sanctions are applied.
And especially, the institution of political responsibility does not work, which would prevent the flourishing of corruption."
