The opposition forces that entered the Parliament of Georgia issued a joint statement stating that they do not accept the presidential elections to be held on December 14.
"The only legitimate state institution is the president of Georgia. Salome Zurabishvili remains the president of Georgia, commander-in-chief of the armed forces and the highest representative of the country in foreign relations," their joint statement said.
They considered the new parliamentary elections the only way out of the political crisis. The elections of the new president of Georgia will take place on December 14, and his inauguration on December 29.
