Trump will be recognized as "Person of the Year"

Time magazine will announce the newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, as "Person of the Year", Politico suggests.

"It is expected that Donald Trump will be recognized as "Man of the Year" by Time magazine, and in honor of the new cover, the newly elected president will ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday morning," the publication writes, citing anonymous sources.

Time magazine published a short list of candidates for the title of "Person of the Year" on Monday.

It included Trump, Vice President Kamala Harris, Kate Middleton, billionaire Elon Musk and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Let's remind that Trump became Time magazine's "Man of the Year" in 2016 after winning the presidential election.
