What did the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Turkey discuss?

On December 11, a telephone conversation took place between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Jeyhun Bayramov and Hakan Fidan.

During the telephone conversation, issues arising from the Azerbaijani-Turkish alliance, the current situation in the Middle East, including Syria, as well as in the South Caucasus were discussed.

The parties exchanged ideas on the negotiations and discussions held within the framework of the 31st meeting of the OSCE Council of Ministers in Malta.

During the conversation, Azerbaijan expressed support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria, and also expressed hope that the created crisis situation will soon find a solution based on the interests and will of the Syrian people.

During the telephone conversation, thoughts were also exchanged on other bilateral and multilateral issues.
