Brazil's president is in intensive care


The president of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, was urgently hospitalized due to a brain hemorrhage. He underwent cranial surgery to remove the hematoma. The operation was successful, informs the website of the "Syrio Libanes" hospital, reports "RIA Novosti".

"Lula da Silva was admitted to the hospital on Monday evening for a headache. An MRI scan showed intracranial bleeding as a result of the accident on October 19.

After that, he was transferred from the capital department of the hospital to Sao Paulo, where a cranial surgery was performed," the message states.

Currently, the Brazilian leader is in the intensive care unit under the supervision of doctors, his condition is stable.
