According to "RIA Novosti", this was reported by the Austrian ORF TV channel, referring to Gerhard Carner, the head of the Republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"I instructed the ministry to prepare a plan for regular repatriation and deportation to Syria," Carner said.
It is clarified that on December 9, the current chancellor, Karl Nehamer, instructed the country's interior minister to stop considering all current asylum applications for Syrians and review all asylum permits. Family reunification will also be suspended.
