Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar and British Foreign Minister David Lammy discussed by phone the worsening situation in the Middle East, including the events in Lebanon, Syria and the Gaza Strip, on the evening of December 8.
The Israeli minister wrote about this in X. "We discussed the dramatic events in Syria, the need to protect minorities and the security implications for the current situation in Israel.
We also discussed the ceasefire in Lebanon, the situation in Gaza and the possibility of reaching an agreement on the hostages.
Israel is a bastion of strength and stability in a troubled region and will remain so," Saar said.
