Zelensky rejected US President Donald Trump's call for an immediate ceasefire on the frontline

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in his Telegram channel, rejected the call of the newly elected US President, Donald Trump, for an immediate cease-fire on the front, reports Gazeta.ru.

"Without guarantees, the ceasefire can flare up at any time..." he wrote.

According to him, in order to guarantee that there will be no more losses, it is necessary to "guarantee the reliability of peace".

He also left without comment the claims about his readiness for a "deal with Russia", which was also announced by Trump.

Moreover, the President of Ukraine repeated that he does not accept peace agreements without security guarantees for Ukraine.
