"Fact" daily writes:
"Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan instructed the Foreign Ministry to prepare a bilateral meeting with President-elect Donald Trump at any cost in order to deepen relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Armenia.
"Republic Square" Telegram channel published such information yesterday, referring to its sources.
It is noted that the meeting should take place before the official inauguration of Trump, because after that it will be more difficult to organize such a meeting.
By the way, in this context, information was circulating that the reopening ceremony of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris today could be an excellent opportunity for this. What is particularly remarkable about such information?
The point is that Pashinyan and the KPA team emphasized the victory of the Democrats in the US presidential elections and had close ties with the Biden administration and representatives of the Democrats.
However, Donald Trump representing the Republican Party won the US elections.
Now, in fact, Pashinyan should make efforts to meet with him, to establish contacts with the representatives of his cabinet, first of all to understand the political future of himself and his government.
According to the mentioned channel, ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections, Pashinyan is trying to find a new "political roof" in the person of Trump.
"US-Russia relations under Trump may or may not be as sharp and hostile as they are today.
Pashinyan understands that his political future is decided in Washington and Moscow", the authors write, adding that Pashinyan has no chance to be re-elected in the elections, as he has almost zero rating in Armenia.
In other words, in order to be "re-elected", Pashinyan must have the support of one of the superpowers. "Taking into account the anti-Russian foreign policy of Pashinyan and CP for years, it is understandable that Pashinyan will try to get that "green light" from the White House.
However, after the end of the Ukrainian war, the South Caucasus will be transferred to the Russian Federation as a result of a new geopolitical division, and Pashinyan's steps in the direction of Trump will not give any real results.
Pashinyan has only one option: to resign and leave with the team, or become pro-Russian overnight and instruct the team to praise Moscow, the Kremlin and the Armenian-Russian alliance ties via SMS."
