"The issue of Taiwan is the first red line that cannot be crossed in Sino-American relations. Secessionist actions are incompatible with peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait."
Beijing calls on Washington not to support Taiwan's independence, to stop official exchanges with the Taipei administration, to stop weakening the "one China" principle. "No one should underestimate the strong determination, will and strong ability of the Chinese government and people to protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity," said Lin Jiang.
