German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has not ruled out sending Bundeswehr peacekeeping forces to participate in peacekeeping operations, he said in an interview with Deutschlandfunk.
"We are preparing, we are working on scripts, but we are doing it secretly," he said.
Pistorius added that the conditions for deployment of the contingent will depend on the mandate, scale and conditions proposed by the conflicting parties.
At the same time, the minister emphasized that Germany excludes the participation of ground troops in military operations in Ukraine.
