The employees of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan (NSC) disrupted the preparation of 4 terrorist attacks, the press service of the President of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev, announced this after the meeting with the Chairman of the National Security Committee, Ermek Sagimbaev.
According to the report, this year 84 people were also convicted for involvement in terrorism and extremism.
"6 Kazakh nationals wanted on suspicion of committing terrorist crimes were extradited from Syria and Turkey, two of them were convicted of the attempts of 824 foreigners involved in terrorism and extremism to enter Kazakhstan," the press service added.
