All CSTO obligations towards Armenia remain unchanged. Secretary General of the CSTO

All obligations of the Collective Security Treaty Organization towards Armenia remain unchanged.

Secretary General of the organization Imanghali Tasmaghambetov said this during a video conference on the Sputnik platform. According to him, the recently established format of relations between Armenia and the structure is first of all the decision of the military-political leadership of Armenia. As is known, Yerevan has announced to freeze the membership of the organization, but at the same time, it does not object to the adoption of the final documents.

CSTO General Secretary noted that Yerevan's non-participation in the discussion of issues does not affect the effectiveness of the organization. "Nevertheless, we proceed from the fact that Armenia is our ally, and all our obligations remain unchanged towards Armenia. He can return to full participation in the organization at any time. There are no objections," added Tasmaghambetov.
