Washington advocates a peaceful resolution of the situation in South Korea. US Ambassador to the Republic Philip Goldberg made a statement about this. In a conversation with Yonhap, he noted that the United States supports a settlement in South Korea “in a peaceful, democratic and constitutional way.”
