The rise of terrorists in Syria reflects attempts to carve up the Middle East region and redraw the maps again to suit the interests of the West. This was announced by the President of the Arab Republic Bashar al-Assad during a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian.
"During the telephone conversation, President Assad confirmed that the increase in terrorist activity reflects the far-reaching goals of dividing the region, dismembering its countries and redrawing the maps to suit the interests and goals of America and the West," the statement said.
