Kaya Callas, head of European diplomacy, believes that Russia's influence in the world is growing.
"If America is worried about China, it should be worried about Russia first. We see that Russia, Iran, and China are cooperating. And we also see what President Vladimir is doing Putin in other countries, actually strengthening his influence," he said in an interview with the Ukrainian publication Obshchestvennoe.
Callas started working as the new EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy on December 1. On the same day, he left for Kiev with the head of the European Council, Antonio Costa.
Previously, Kallas held the post of Prime Minister of Estonia and repeatedly made anti-Russian statements.
