More than 570,000 people return to their homes after the cease-fire in Lebanon


More than 570,000 internally displaced people in Lebanon have started to return to their homes after the announcement of a ceasefire. This was reported by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Lebanon.

As mentioned in the document, as of November 28, more than 578,600 internally displaced persons have started to return to their homes after the ceasefire.

This is about 65 percent of the 899,700 internally displaced persons registered in Lebanon between October 8, 2023 and November 25, 2024. The report also states that 51% of the total number of internally displaced persons are women, 49% are men. .
