The head of the European Council, Antonio Costa, and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaya Callas, arrived in Kyiv on December 1, the first working day in their new positions.
This is stated in the messages of Kalas and Costa on the X social network. According to Deutsche Welle, they plan to meet with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
"My message during my first visit after taking office is clear: the EU wants Ukraine to win this war. We will do everything for it," Kaya Kalas wrote.
Let's remind that on November 27, the European Parliament approved the new composition of the European Commission, which officially started its work today.
