Six NATO ships arrived in Estonia

Six NATO warships entered the port of Tallinn on Friday. This was reported by the portal ERR.ee with reference to the press service of the General Staff of the Estonian Defense Forces. Warships of the North Atlantic Alliance made a scheduled call to the port of Tallinn to participate in various events, replenish supplies and rest the crews.

The ships are part of two standing NATO naval detachments: the 1st standing mine action group consisting of four ships (the Estonian minesweeper EML Wambola, the Norwegian HNoMS Hinnoey, the British HMS Ramsey and the Belgian BNS Primula) and the 1st standing naval group consisting of two ships (Norwegian and Dutch frigates HNoMS Roald Amundsen and HNLMS Evertsen). The ships have been in the Baltic Sea for two weeks now; before that they patrolled the shores of the United Kingdom. The flotilla will stay in Tallinn until Monday, and after that it will leave for Stockholm.
