The accident occurred in the power grid of the city of Varash in western Ukraine, where the Rivne nuclear power plant is located, said the mayor of the city, Alexander Menzul. Rivne NPP is one of three Ukrainian nuclear power plants. The other two are located in the Khmelnitsky and Nikolaev regions.
