Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan introduced the newly appointed chairman of the RA Investigative Committee, Artur Poghosyan, to the members and staff of the RA Investigative Committee.
"In recent days, when I introduce our newly appointed colleagues and talk about our outgoing colleagues, I also make this record that our colleagues have become very experienced at a young age. This implies that a number of our colleagues at least we can say that their potential to be in the public service is not exhausted at all, especially in today's reality, when experienced people are needed in terms of the further development of our state," said the Prime Minister.
Nikol Pashinyan congratulated Artur Poghosyan and wished him success in the position of Chairman of the Investigative Committee.
"Mr. Poghosyan is also not a new person for the Government, the investigative and legal system. I know Mr. Poghosyan from the position of the head of the National Investigation Department. Of course, I must also wish him success in this responsible work, because today, in fact, the Investigative Committee handles 99 percent of our country's criminal cases. is examined, with the possibilities and implications arising from this.

According to the Prime Minister, it is also important for the legal system and the public to clearly formulate what they mean by justice and fairness, so that there will not be too many misinterpretations there.
“Establishing a standard of fairness and justice is a very important function, and the role of the Inquiry Committee in this function cannot be understated.
Understandably, it was not easy to make that political decision to centralize 99 percent of the investigative function in one body, because it was understandable what concerns and fears there were, but I am convinced that the right decision was made.
