The regular meeting of the disciplinary commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was held yesterday, which was chaired by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ara Fidanyan.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the session was attended by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the deputy police chief, the deputy director of the Rescue Service, the head of the internal security and anti-corruption department, the head of the legal department, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations included in the disciplinary commission.

"During the session, the materials and conclusions of the official investigation carried out against eight police officers were studied and discussed.

After analyzing the factual circumstances, the disciplinary commission made a decision to mediate the officials who appointed the official investigation, to subject 7 police officers to disciplinary responsibility, proposing to apply the disciplinary penalty of "Dismissal from the Police", and to 1 officer, the disciplinary penalty of "Remark", the message says.
