"People". Arsen Ayvazyan, the former deputy chairman of the Central Committee, will be invited to the Anti-Corruption Committee for questioning

"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:

"According to the exclusive information of "Zhoghovurd" daily, the former deputy chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Arsen Ayvazyan will be invited to the Anti-Corruption Committee and will be questioned in the criminal case involving the son of KP deputy Hovik Aghazaryan. And why?

Informed sources of "Zhoghovurd" daily reported that Argishti Kyaramyan told the pre-investigation body during his interrogation that the son of CP member Hovik Aghazaryan, taking advantage of the loophole in the law (which the legislator father did not take the initiative to regulate), imported a large number of cars to RA, exported them, and then received a VAT refund from the state, which is illegal. that's why Aghazaryan's son's cars are under ban.

The "Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper, referring to its informed sources, reported that twice in the case of Aghazaryan's son, an application was sent to the RA Investigative Committee, and both times the applicant was Hovik Aghazaryan himself.

MP Aghazaryan, using his parliamentary leverage, first appealed to the investigator handling the case, and the second time to Arsen Ayvazyan, deputy chairman of the Central Committee, persuading them to remove his son's impounded cars from custody. According to our sources, the investigator investigating the case forwarded Aghazaryan's application. to his superior, the superior informed Argishti Kyaramyan, and Kyaramyan refused. The second time Aghazaryan applied Arsen Ayvazyan, the deputy chairman of the Central Committee, informed Argishti Kyaramyan about this and was again refused.

In this situation, Aghazaryan allegedly violated the RA Law "On Guarantees of the Deputy's Activity", Article 3, Clauses 4 and 5 of which stipulate: "When exercising the powers of a deputy, do not be guided by the personal interests of yourself or those connected with you, do not use the authority of the position of a deputy for the benefit of yourself or another person."

Apart from that, Article 486, Part 1 of the Criminal Code prohibits interfering with and obstructing the investigation of the case. And Aghazaryan allegedly tried to obstruct and influence the preliminary investigation with his application. Thus, Hovik Aghazaryan, in addition to bribery proceedings, which has already been initiated, also allowed two other alleged violations of the law, for which the Prosecutor General of RA should enter the National Assembly and Aghazaryan to deprive him of his parliamentary immunity through the parliament, bringing charges against him.

And if he gives up his mandate before then, perhaps these alleged crimes will be forgiven and forgotten. therefore, judging by the situation, the Prosecutor General of RA should go to the National Assembly after him."
