The newly elected US President Donald Trump's administration may remove transgenders from the armed forces. This is reported by Times newspaper.
Based on this, "on the first day of Trump's return to the White House, on January 20, a decree may be signed, according to which 15 thousand people will have to leave the army due to health reasons," the publication says.
According to The Times, high-ranking officers will be among those dismissed.
78-year-old Trump, as the publication reminds, is against the practice of "political correctness" in the armed forces. In his view, some senior officers are often more interested in "equality and inclusion" than in combat planning.
