2024 has been completed in the main department of the RA Investigative Committee. On June 11, on Shinararner Street in Yerevan, the preliminary investigation of the murder of Sergey Grigoryan, known as "Faz" and the attempted murder of his companion, 35-year-old B.Simonyan.
Within the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated in the investigation department of the Ajapniak and Davtashen administrative districts of the RA Investigative Committee, the preliminary investigation of which was later continued in the main department of the CCA investigation, as a result of the large-scale investigative and administrative operations carried out, circumstances of essential importance for the investigation were revealed, including the motive, the alleged crime the identity of the perpetrators, the role of each of them in the commission of the crime, their actions were individualized, which were given adequate legal evaluations by the preliminary investigation body.
During the preliminary investigation carried out in close cooperation with the Police of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, RA NSS, it was documented that in order to illegally deprive S. Grigoryan of his life, R. Stepanyan, with the prior agreement of A. Kureghyan, H. Sahakyan and Su. Grigoryan, illegally obtained and kept firearms and bullets, then together with A. Kureghyan, they organized and directed the actions of other accomplices, with their direct participation in 2024. on June 11, at around 11:15 p.m., S. Grigoryan was killed by illegally depriving other people of their lives in a dangerous way.
The investigation revealed that between R. Stepanyan, known as "Fat Rustam" and S. Grigoryan, known as "Faz", hostile relations have been formed since 2018, in connection with a personal matter.
The situation became more tense in 2020. in December, the reason for which was the writing of comments in the form of sexual insults on the Instagram page of a close person of R. Stepanyan about S. Grigoryan and his close friend. In this regard, S. Grigoryan, in order to punish, kidnapped R. Stepanyan's relative, against her will. , illegally depriving him of his freedom, they beat him, demanding to reveal the details of the person who made the offensive posts, and only with the intervention of R. Stepanyan, he was released on the condition that he would later reveal the details of the person who made the offensive posts.
After some time, S. Grigoryan again tried to find out the information he was interested in from the mentioned close person of R. Stepanyan by phone, but when he was refused, he threatened to kill the latter and those who were with him. S. Grigoryan's brother, having reached a preliminary agreement with a group of persons, in 2021 on January 13, in the parking lot of the "Tokhmakh" cemetery, with the motive of punishing R. Stepanyan's relatives and the people who were with him, shots were fired at R. Stepanyan, A. Kureghyan and their other supporters who were in their cars.
After these incidents, tense, hostile relations were formed between S. Grigoryan and R. Stepanyan. The investigation revealed that later a number of incidents took place with the participation of the latter's relatives, including the use of weapons, in connection with which criminal proceedings were initiated.
As a result of the formed hostile relations, R. Stepanyan made another plan to take revenge on S. Grigoryan.
In particular, in order to carry out his criminal intention to kill him, his relatives A. Kureghyan, who was also the personal driver of R. Stepanyan and his family members, with the prior agreement with H. Sahakyan and Su. Grigoryan, illegally acquired and kept a stun gun. "AK-103" type, 7.62mm caliber rifle and at least 54 bullets, as well as items necessary to facilitate the commission of the crime, to carry it out without fail, to hide possible traces, in particular: binoculars, gloves, masks, police uniforms, radio communication devices, flashlights, flammable liquid, forged registration plates, an Opel Astra station wagon, which was identical in appearance to an Opel Astra station wagon with genuine registration plates.
The date of the event: 2024 on June 11, after fulfilling the agreements with R. Stepanyan and A. Kureghyan, Su. Grigoryan and H. Sahakyan, taking with them the illegally acquired rifle loaded with bullets, the above-mentioned accessories acquired to commit the crime, Opel Astra with forged registration plates " around 9:00 p.m., in order to choose a suitable time to kill S. Grigoryan, they ambushed and chased him.
Around 23:15, S. Grigoryan, accompanied by his friends, left the bookmaker's office at 25 Shinararneri Street, Yerevan, and sat in the driver's seat of his Toyota Land Cruiser parked on the sidewalk. B. Simonyan, one of the escorts. Noticing that S. Grigoryan was going to leave, H. Sahakyan, driving his Opel Astra car sharply forward, overtook the car that was following S. Grigoryan's car, partially blocking the busy part of the street, also overtook the car driven by S. Grigoryan from the left side. , standing abruptly in front of it, blocking progress.
At the same moment, Su.Grigoryan, who was sitting in the right rear seat of the aforementioned "Opel Astra" car, fired at least 20 shots from the AK-103 assault rifle, which was illegally kept by him, in a manner dangerous to the lives of other people, in the direction of the latter, as a result of which S.Grigoryan hit his head. and received physical injuries incompatible with life in different parts of the body, and B.Simonyan received an injury in the form of a blind wound from a gunshot fragment, with a short-term deterioration of health. Immediately after completing the crime, H. Sahakyan and Su. Grigoryan, unable to leave the scene with their "Opel Astra" car due to collision with other cars, left it at the scene and ran away.
B. Simonyan and S. Grigoryan were immediately taken to the medical center, where the latter died a few minutes later. the cartridge box loaded with bullets in his pocket, a flashlight, two radio communication devices, masks and a pair of gloves. After running away in different directions, both of them separately went to the house belonging to R. Stepanyan, located in Kotayk region, where A. Kureghyan was waiting for them, and R. Stepanyan joined them a little later. Later, the two persons of the group, who committed the crime, crossed the RA border through "Zvartnots" airport and left for Russia. It turned out that A. Kureghyan organized the various movements of Su. Grigoryan and H. Sahakyan, the making of the necessary purchases, the actions.
As a result of the measures taken, the organizers of the crime, R. Stepanyan and A. Kureghyan, were found and arrested. points and part 2 of Article 335. As a preventive measure, they were detained. Some of the latter were separated in a separate proceeding and the preliminary investigation was announced.
The materials of the proceedings were sent to the supervising prosecutor in order to confirm the indictment and send it to the court. A public criminal prosecution was initiated against Su.Grigoryan and H.Sahakyan, according to clauses 7, 8, part 2 of Article 155 of the RA Criminal Code, 44 - by parts 7 and 8 of Article 155, part 2 of Article 335.
A search was announced for the latter.
