In the Czech Republic, the number of people injured by lightning has reached 18


In the north of the Czech Republic, 18 people, including 9 children, were struck by lightning (in the town of Liberec). These data were presented by the ČTK news agency with reference to the press secretary of the Liberec hospital Vaclav Ržičarži. The victims were placed in the clinics of Prague, Liberec and Jablonec in Nisou (Northern Czech Republic). Seven of them were transported in a serious condition. The Czech police in X reported earlier that the emergency happened in the second half of the day in the palace park of the Vratislavice region of Liberec, and 15 people were injured. A children's party was taking place there. Representatives of the rescuers informed that some of the victims had to be resuscitated after being struck by lightning.
