During the regular procedural consultation of the Yerevan Municipality, Mayor Tigran Avinyan referred to the reconstruction plan of the Kond district. "Considering that the process started in 2021, I think that this process is taking a little illogically long," he said, referring to the competition. Avinyan noted that he cannot understand the logic of endless competitions. "It's been more than a year, 7 subjects have been selected to go to the second stage, this second stage is taking a long time, not to mention that the first stage was also illogically long. Maybe there was so much work to be done, on everyone's part, but at least we didn't want a final detailed project, but a conceptual proposal at a certain level." According to Avinyan, every issue, especially regarding the city of Yerevan, is primarily the responsibility of the municipality. "If we receive a proposal, it is very we are happy, we will talk about that proposal with all partners. If we don't receive an offer, maybe we will ask international partners to give an offer," said Avinyan.
