I want to thank all of you for your patience during the transition to the single ticket system. Mayor Tigran Avinyan said this month today at the meeting of the Council of Elders of Yerevan Municipality, referring to the transport reforms.
"Yerevan Municipality continues to modernize public transport and 171 new buses will serve the citizens of Yerevan.
This is no less important and I want to thank all of you for your patience during the transition to the unified ticket system, I know that in many cases it was very difficult," Avinyan said.
He also expressed satisfaction with the approach of Yerevan bus drivers. "We have a transition period and I hope that everyone will be able to make that transition," Avinyan said.
