The Russian city of Sochi is under a massive drone attack. According to Dozhd, the attack lasted for about an hour.
Sochi Mayor Andrei Proshunin reported at 00:39 Moscow time about the threat of a drone attack and urged residents to take shelter in safe places.
"All forces and resources are working to protect the city. Take shelter in a safe place, remain calm," the mayor wrote.
According to Dozhd sources, the attack is ongoing, and air defense systems, anti-aircraft weapons and mobile fire groups have been deployed to repel it.
The local Telegram channel "Sochi.txt" writes that an attack of such intensity in the direction of Sochi and Sirius has never been recorded before.
There are no official details about the consequences of the attack and possible casualties at this time.
