According to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bishkek on Tuesday was held in a productive atmosphere, during which the issue of Ukraine was raised.
"We had a bilateral meeting with Mr. Putin. During that meeting, we also had the opportunity to discuss, in particular, the events in Ukraine, and it turned out to be quite productive. The meeting was held in a very, very sincere atmosphere," Erdogan said, speaking to reporters on the plane on his way back from Bishkek.
Let us recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met yesterday in Bishkek.
Erdogan noted during the meeting that he attaches great importance to these negotiations, and that Turkey-Russia relations are at a much higher level today than at any other time in the past.
