Israel's Shin Bet intelligence agency has confirmed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's son has been evacuated from the United States to Israel, the Jerusalem Post reported.
"There was indeed a serious threat to harm Yair Netanyahu, so after assessing the situation, a decision was made to urgently evacuate him and his security team to Israel," the newspaper quoted the Shin Bet as saying.
Netanyahu's son was living in Florida, the newspaper reported.
Netanyahu said on Monday that Iranian intelligence had attempted to assassinate one of his sons, without giving details.
