The “Hraparak” newspaper writes: “Yesterday, during interrogation at the Anti-Corruption Committee, Robert Kocharyan’s well-being deteriorated, after which he was transferred to the “Surb Grigor Lusavorich” medical center.
According to our information, Kocharyan wanted to be transferred to the “Erebuni” medical center, where he had undergone surgery 10 days ago, where he had a heart stent. However, the preliminary investigation body did not satisfy his wish and decided that he should be transferred to the “Surb Grigor Lusavorich” medical center operating under the Ministry of Health. We were told that the reason is that this medical center was closer to the Anti-Corruption Committee. But the reasonable and humane thing would be to transfer him to the medical center where he had undergone surgery, so that the doctor treating him, who knows the details of his health condition, could provide medical assistance. We would not be surprised if it turns out that this issue was also decided by Nikol Pashinyan himself.
According to our information, the doctor who operated on Kocharyan was nevertheless invited to the “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” hospital yesterday, where he examined Kocharyan and conducted a consultation.
