On August 16, an 18-year-old girl was kidnapped in the village of Verin Dvin. One of the girl's relatives, who wished to remain anonymous, alerted us and told us that the incident happened in front of the girl's mother. According to him, the girl's mother was beaten and thrown to the ground by 4 young men, and the girl was kidnapped. The relatives contacted the police, but there was no news during the day, the family was very worried.
Today, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the abductors of the girl were found, and one person was arrested. The police also released footage of the abduction.
The girl's relative todayOn the squaretold that he is currently at home next to his mother. "The girl was reasonable, she said: let's go to the police station, I will sign that I came voluntarily, when they arrived at the station, she said that they forced her, she does not agree, she lied to them to leave." In other words, the girl refused to stay with the kidnapper and convinced the police that she would write and sign that she voluntarily went with the boy so that she would not be punished, but upon reaching the police, she reported the crime, after which the young man was arrested. By the way, abducting a person and illegally depriving him of his liberty is a rather serious article, it entails imprisonment of 2 to 5 years.
When asked whether the girl was subjected to sexual or physical violence, our interlocutor said: "The girl claims that she was not subjected to sexual violence, but she filed a complaint with the police regarding her abduction, which she is not going to take back. I don't know how things will turn out later."
