Compatriots displaced from Karabakh have recently submitted many applications to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia on the issue of restoration of driver's license under conditions of deprivation.
In the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the issue was studied in detail, and all the data available in the information databases made available to the authorized body in the field of migration after the displacement were studied. Taking into account that the presence of a person's right to drive is clearly confirmed by the verified data, but the data on the grounds and dates of being deprived of a driving license are not complete, in the current situation, a decision was made to interpret all the facts in favor of the citizens and issue new driving licenses.
So, starting Monday, citizens can apply and get a digital or plastic driver's license without taking an exam. According to Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan, it is important for them that the issues raised are not only heard, but also receive a fair and legal solution.
