"Armlur.am received details of the criminal case against the son of the former RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. In particular, the investigator of the RA Investigative Committee requested and received from the court the phone number of the murdered spiritual pastor Soghom Vlasyan. According to the information we received, there were correspondences and various conversations in the phone about Soghomon Vlasyan and the people who received communion from him. Let us remind that on April 30, 2023, in Yerevan, near the building at Myasnikyan 2, Soghomon Vlasyan, the spiritual pastor of the "Christians of the Gospel" religious organization, was killed with a gun. More than three years after the murder, the case took a new turn.
On August 8, National Security Service officers arrested former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan's son, Argam Abrahamyan, and on August 9, he was detained. According to the CC, the former head of the Artashat community, the former deputy of the National Assembly, AA Argam Abrahamyan, suspected that his wife, Emma Tsarukyan, had personal relations with Soghomon Vlasyan and gave her large sums of money.
According to the version of the investigative committee, that circumstance became a motive for revenge, and Abrahamyan decided to kill Vlasyan not personally, but through his security guard Gegham Hakobyan. According to the investigation, Abrahamyan instructed Hakobyan to kill Vlasyan, and the latter committed the murder with a firearm on April 30, 2023 near Myasnikyan 2. A public criminal prosecution was initiated against Abrahamyan under Article 46-155, Part 2, Clause 11 of the Criminal Code, for inciting to commit a contract murder. According to the investigative committee, this circumstance became a motive for revenge, and Abrahamyan decided to kill Vlasyan not personally, but through his security guard Gegham Hakobyan.
Let us add that the case regarding Gegham Hakobyan has been in court since 2024, and that is the reason why the pre-investigation body demanded the phone of the murdered man from the court.
