1. What support can a family receive in the event of a child's birth?

2. Can a non-working citizen receive maternity benefits?

There is no need to submit a separate application or document to receive the benefit. After the 210th day of pregnancy, it is necessary to apply to a medical institution to open an incapacity for work sheet and indicate the preferred bank.
3. How much will the child birth lump sum be?
In the case of a child born after September 1, 2026, the one-time birth allowance will amount to AMD 500,000, regardless of the child's serial number.

4. How much is childcare allowance for a child under 2?
The amount of the monthly allowance varies depending on the status of the parent.
A parent who is not on care leave: AMD 31,600
A parent on care leave: AMD 37,500
Rural parent on care leave: AMD 69,100
A rural parent can receive AMD 69,100 per month until the child turns 2 years old, if the parent has been registered in a rural area for at least one consecutive year, and the child is also registered there at the time of application.
It is possible to apply after the child is 70 days old, through the e-social.am platform or at the regional center of the Unified Social Service.
5. In the case of the third child, how much is the allowance of 50,000 drams?
50 thousand drams provided in the case of the birth of the third and next child in the family is paid every month until the child turns 6 years old.

6. Can the state help pay off the mortgage if the child is born?
Yes. Within the framework of the state support program for housing security for families with children, the family can receive one-time support, which is directed to the repayment of the principal amount of the mortgage loan.
