"Zhoghovurd" daily writes: Aghvan Vardanyan, deputy of the Armenia faction of the National Assembly, actually found himself in an isolated state within the faction.
"Zhoghovurd" daily noted in the National Assembly that there is almost no communication between the members of the faction and Aghvan Vardanyan. Although there are formal greetings, there is no warm or active working relationship.
Only with Agnesa Khamoyan, Vardanyan can sometimes be seen drinking coffee together in the NA cafe. The reason for the problem, as reported by the faction insiders, is Aghvan Vardanyan's earlier statement, according to which if Nikol Pashinyan remains in power, he will give up his parliamentary mandate. Almost all members of the faction, in the conversation with "Zhoghovurd" daily, claim that Aghvan Vardanvanyan could have kept his promise and renounced the mandate.
In that case, Garnik Danielyan, who performed more active and effective parliamentary work in the previous National Assembly, would enter the parliament.
Another reason also deepened the tension in the faction. When Aghvan Vardanyan was talking about the possibility of not giving up the mandate, he mentioned that he would be next to Ishkhan Saghatelyan and Narek Karapetyan on that road.
However, in the last few days, when Narek Karapetyan and Ishkhan Saghatelyan were the targets of severe criticism from government circles, there is no public support or active protection from Aghvan Vardanyan.
At this moment, it is obvious that if the issue of the deputy's mandate continues to remain on the agenda, the existing tension within the "Armenia" faction will not disappear, but may receive new developments."
