In January-June 2026, 1,292 tons of tomatoes with a total value of $1.9 million were exported from Georgia, reportsBM.GE:.
Compared to the same period last year, the value of exports increased by 4.5%, although the volume of exported products decreased by 3.2%.
Statistics show that Georgian tomatoes were sold to only three countries during the reporting period. The main export market was Armenia, where 888 tons of products were supplied with a value of 1.4 million dollars. It is followed by Russia with 383 tons worth $432,000, and 20 tons of tomatoes worth $13,000 were exported to Romania.
