The Ministry of Internal Affairs published a message about the case of a citizen who was sent to a forced psychiatric hospital and committed suicide there. On May 16, at 6:07 p.m., a report was received from the "Nubarashen" mental health care center to the 112 operational control center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that Armen Hovhannisyan, who was transferred to them, committed suicide by hanging.
A. Hovhannisyan was arrested and was in the detention facility of the Community Police Department of Artashat. On May 16, at around 09:30, the detainee's mentally unbalanced behavior was noticed, after which an ambulance was called. On the instructions of the emergency doctor, the arrested person was taken to the mental health center in an ambulance, accompanied by the police.
