Wildberries company issued a statement regarding the cessation of sales of products of Armenian trading companies.
"In connection with the current situation, which is due to the application of additional control procedures for individual product categories within the scope of customs clearance in the territory of the Russian Federation, Wildberries company (IMVBAM LLC) presents an explanation.
The company is in constant dialogue with partners and relevant institutions and is closely monitoring the development of the situation.
In the framework of this work, a meeting with Armenian sellers was organized, in which more than 50 entrepreneurs participated. The representatives of the company discussed the emerging issues with their colleagues, listened to feedback suggestions and continue to jointly develop possible solutions.
It should also be noted that the customs formalization rules have been changed in the Russian Federation since April 20. To comply with the new requirements, additional documentation was requested from vendors as part of the necessary updated procedures.
At the same time, the goods already in warehouses in the Russian Federation continue to be sold in the usual mode, and the sellers maintain the possibility of operating in the domestic market of Armenia.
All issues are discussed in the prescribed manner with the participation of the relevant parties. The company hopes for a phased resolution of the situation and will inform about significant changes as they occur."
