The employees of the Police and Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs performed an emergency service during the events dedicated to the Citizen's Day.
The officers of Community and Criminal Police, Patrol Service and Police Guard implemented public order protection and measures aimed at ensuring public safety, and the employees of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were on duty.
During the events with the participation of tens of thousands of citizens, which were attended by both RA citizens and many tourists, thanks to the services of the police and rescuers, no serious incidents or accidents were recorded.
Measures and duty aimed at maintaining public order and public safety were also carried out on April 23, at Jaherov march and on April 24, at Tsitsernakaberd, during which no serious incident or accident was recorded either.
Armenia is one of the safest countries in the world, as evidenced by studies conducted by international authoritative organizations with various indexes. Incidents recorded during large-scale events are also taken into account during these studies.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue the work aimed at continuous improvement of subordinate services, the overarching goal of which is to ensure the safety of our citizens and tourists.
