"Fact" daily writes:
Yesterday was the second round of presidential elections in Moldova. According to the published data, the current president of that country, pro-Western Maria Sandu, won. This circumstance has greatly excited the "pro-Westerners" of Armenia and also a large number of Pashinists, that is, "Moldova is going to Europe", "is breaking away from Russia" and so on. We will come back to this later. Until then, some important observations should be made about what happened in Moldova. Although, in this case, the connection "Made in Moldova" is not so appropriate, no matter how strange it sounds.
The point is that in Moldova itself, the protégé of the West, Maria Sandu, lost the elections and did not receive a sufficient percentage of votes. This, let's note, in the conditions that all possible political forces in Moldova that could nominate an alternative candidate are either under political persecution, under investigation for fabricated cases, or have been expelled from the country. Maria Sandu's rival was Stefanoglu, a representative of the national minority in Moldova (Gagauz). But, with all that, let's repeat, in Moldova itself, Sandu lost the vote, as, let's remind, the EU membership referendum did not pass in the country either. And, as in the case of the referendum, the vote of Moldovans living in European countries (so to speak, the Moldovan diaspora) or the "data" ordered in its name was of crucial importance. Specifically, hundreds of polling stations were secured for the voting of Moldovans in the EU member states, in which the votes given in favor of Sandu (about 300 thousand) allowed him to declare himself the winner in the second round. For comparison, let's note that although there are quite a few Moldovans in Russia, only 1 polling station was operated for them, only in Moscow and... with the possibility of only 20,000 ballots. Why are we mentioning the circumstances concerning Moldova in such detail? For a very simple reason. to understand under what conditions the pro-Western president of that country "won".
In practice, it can be said that the "central committee" of Brussels appointed Sandu as the president of Moldova and decided instead of the Moldovans that that country is "going to the European Union". And here the question arises, how pharisee and hypocritical a person must be in order to be excited or at least show that he is excited about the Moldovan "elections". It is noteworthy that the same Armenian "Western" grant circles were not at all excited, moreover, they were disappointed with the results of the elections held in Georgia the other day.
The only thing is that the ruling "Georgian Dream" in Georgia, as it is known, received about 54 percent of the votes, according to which, most of the people of Georgia agreed with the policy of the government of that country, not to make the country and the people a pawn or a scapegoat for the interests of the West. In general, certain developments are taking place both in our immediate neighborhood and in the wider region. By and large, these developments result in the United States and the conventional "collective West" "pushing" Russia into a corner, narrowing the sphere of Russian influence, creating problems for Russia and its allies. On the other hand, Russia faces this aggression, seeks to protect its interests as a major power. And not only Russia. China is also acting in that wing, it is understandable, based on its interests and first of all from the simple calculation that if the West succeeds in defeating Russia in order to mess up its reserves, then China will be next. And it is natural that the internal political developments of different countries are closely related to general regional, in this case, even global processes. By the way, the "dreams" that Russia is destroyed, isolated, its positions in the region have weakened, this, as everyone had the opportunity to see, do not correspond to reality. Good or bad is another question, but the fact remains.
In the context of all this, it is understandable that the presidential elections to be held in the USA, or more precisely, the ongoing ones, are of great importance. If Harris, a representative of the current belligerent and aggressive regime, wins or is declared the winner, then this implies a deepening of the confrontation, if Trump wins, then there may be some revisions regarding "pro-Western" governments and authorities. Let's say, in the same Moldova, where the president of the country, in fact, will rule in a country where he was not elected. Let's smoothly return to our... "enthusiasts", even more so to the issues that concern us directly. It is already clear to everyone that the "pro-Westerners" of Armenia, it doesn't matter whether they are on a grant, Soros or "officially", they are not leading Armenia to any European Union, and the European Union does not need Armenia either. They only need that there is no presence and influence of Russia here, they need Armenia to enter into a confrontation with Russia, Iran, and now also with Georgia.
Simply put, they want Armenia to commit political suicide, which is what the Pashinyan regime has been doing for more than 6 and a half years. Another thing that is worth noting in connection with the reactions of the Moldovan and Georgian elections, and even more so in the West, is that there are no "democratic values", "human rights" in the current political situation. They are on paper. There are double, multiple standards, no matter where the outcome is. Just as with the Artsakh disaster, we were convinced that there is no "international law". What kind of right is it, when it works in some places, what "values" are they, if one can go to open fraud and declare someone the head of a country, whom the population of the given country rejects, or put a name to the elections of Georgia, disregarding the expression of the will of the majority of the country's population. Khnko Apor's ears are calling. "It is always the fault of the weak with the strong." Nothing has changed. All we have to do is gather our wits and pull the country out of the current destructive quagmire with collective intelligence. How, that's another topic of conversation.
